Too Many Girls (MP4) - Jasmine St James, Cadence Lux, Erin, Tilly McReese, Lydia Lael & Claire Irons

It's a big shoot with six models. Four of them, Jasmine, Cadence, Erin and Tilly, have to travel a long way so they stay overnight to be ready bright and early on the day. Claire arrives during the night and sleeps in her car, while Lydia plans to arrive with a full bladder in the morning. Everyone has prepared for a day of desperation by increasing their fluid intake. Claire is first to give in to the urge for relief and climbs from her car, planning to go in the woods, but the sound of something big nearby dissuades her from this and she hurries to the house, hoping it is not too early to gain entry. Inside the house, the girls wake one after another with a full bladder, and all need to get into a bathroom. The problem is, there are only two bathrooms, and once in there a woman can take such a long time to do what she needs to do. It's a recipe for a lot of holding and frustrated squirming.

I have yet to purchase and watch this yet, but it seems like it could be a masterpiece of editing! I'm so curious to hear about your process, David–– in how much detail did you script and plan shots? I imagine this took a lot of coordination across shot/reverse shots filmed at different times! It's a clever concept and I'm excited to see your work.

This project was filmed over a period of four months, and did indeed require a lot of coordination. Over such a span of time, things inevitably went wrong. Several sequences had to be completely re-filmed because one model changed her hair color, and another lost a pair of panties that we could not replace. All told, I filmed about 100 minutes of footage; it's always best to film more than one will need for the final edit, to have as much latitude as possible. One sequence, with Sinthia, was never used at all because the premise of the story changed after her performance was recorded, and the content did not match. We made the choice to re-film it with a different model, taking advantage of the situation at the time.

I do have plans to create a making of video, showing lost sequences, and including interviews with some of the models concerned. This will probably be available in November.

I should mention that this whole project was a custom, though with a lot of latitude to make changes as needed. The initial attempts to script it in detail soon went out the window as performances were improvised. The trick was to make sure the key elements were present, and work around them.

Needless-to-say, it was an expensive undertaking with no guarantee of success, but with the cooperation of the models concerned, we were able to make it happen.

Wow, that must have been an expensive custom! I mean for the person who ordered it, too

I must say, the editing was great, but the peeing performances unfortunately not so much. Maybe Cadence was alright, but I was hoping for something more from at least Jasmine. Nevertheless, could be interesting to see the removed scenes and interviews.
