You may have gathered already from Amber and Rachael (on a different thread) that the holding contest with 5 models was a resounding success. Rachael has indicated that the wait time was over 2 hours (those girls are so competitive!) so we can't have a time guessing competition. However, I think it's time we used a new set of criteria for winning, so here is what you have to do to win a free download of this movie. You must get the first 4 questions right and offer the closest guess for question 5. If more than one person gets a full set of correct answers, each will receive the free download.

1) In which order did the models pee themselves?
2) Who were the two finalists?
3) Which of the finalists gave in first?
4) Which of the finalists peed the most into the graduated cylinders?
5) How much did she pee (in millilitres)?

I should comment that this movie content did not follow the rules of the Holding It For Hours series, but is more in keeping with the holding contest format. The differences are that the cameras were not running continuously throughout (although something like 70% of the proceedings was recorded) and the girls did not empty out before starting. Further, some of the build-up stage is missing; this is shown in segments of approximately 10 minutes duration. The filming is more continuous as the girls' desperation becomes noticeable. As usual, the movie will be released in two formats, one containing everything recorded and the other including the highlights only.

Here's my wild guess:

Well, there are only 120 possible orders you can arrange a set of 5 girls, so that gives me a rather... slim chance of winning. Still, that's better odds than the New York Lottery!

May I ask a few questions?
- If they did not empty out in the beginning, was the contest fair?
- Was there a financial bonus or other incentive for the winner?

There are a lot of permutations, but the person with the highest number of right or close answers will win. Just asking for the right order would have been way too easy and I would have had quite a lot of correct answers.

They all used the bathroom when they arrived, but not just before filming started. I think, given all the different bladder capacities involved, no contest like this can ever be exactly fair - the biggest bladder will almost certainly win, although this has to be coupled with plenty of determination.

There was a financial incentive for the winner, which is why the whole thing lasted more than 2 hours!

Hi Dave,

A thought had just occurred to me, that if you post the result of this competition, it would kind of "spoil" the ending of the movie for me. I mean, I'd like to watch it at least for the first time without knowing the winner. Kind of silly of me, I know, but what are contests for, if not for the sport value.

I hope you don't give away the ending in the movie description and/or photos. Regarding this competition, if there is a winner, could you just announce his name (without giving the explicit result), this way one would have to scroll through the entire thread to find out, it won't stare him in the face. And if there's no winner, could you wait and not post the detailed results for a few days?

This is my dilemma with almost every movie I post. Do I write it up as they do on the back of commercial movie packages and leave the viewer guessing as to the outcome, or do I fess up so that people know what they are buying? I think most buyers prefer to know what they are getting ahead of time, but if I should receive an overwhelming opinion to the contrary here then I would revise this practice, for some movies at least.

I can avoid giving too much away if you like, but it does mean that I can't announce the competition winner for a few days. Provided I can look up the e-mail address of the winner so that he/she does not purchase a copy, I'll give it a go. If there are any strong objections to this, please say so.

Isnt it possible to send the winner a private message here on the board?

For description of movies in general maybe you can write a short non revealing version on the main page, and option to open a second page with full description and pictures.

Here's what I would prefer:
1. On the movie description page, be as detailed as you want (and I love detailed movie descriptions), except for the identity of the final winner.

2. Here on the board, you can announce the winner, but don't explicitly say the result (the order of the 5) on the same post. This way I can avoid scrolling up and down the thread and seeing the result.

My guess is that there would be no winner anyway, so this point might not be so important.
