I mentioned before that all the movies going into the membership area are now in mp4 format. I have created these mp4s by running the original Quicktime files through a converter which actually does a nice job. It allows for improving brightness, colour, contrast & sound. It also allows me to deinterlace the file. I know, nothing new to anyone who uses videos converters, which many of you do I'm sure, but it's a little exciting for me to reprocess something that was released as a somewhat blocky wmv file years ago and see it look vastly better with a few simple tweaks. It pleases the child in me.

In this week's offering is the first Time & Permissions compilation, the first time I have published a compilation in membership. This was a 640x480-pixel file, but is now 960x640pixels (stretched of course), with the same enhancements applied. It looks way better.

There are 20 movies in the membership area at any one time. When you purchase membership, which can be non-recurring if you don't feel comfortable with renewals on these things, you get the 20 files plus 16 more that get added over the month. If you buy the membership at just the right time, you can actually end up with 40 movies in total.
