For many years I have been using north@bound2burst.net as the primary e-mail address for Bound2Burst, but I feel it is time to use a more secure service for communications. The front page contact link now points to david_north@protonmail.com - the transition will take a while since I don't use cascading style sheets, but eventually the old address will disappear from the site. It will still exist on my end because it contains many years worth of data, but really, that's the problem. We all know how Google takes few steps, if any, to protect user privacy (good examples are their cellphones and skype services).
Protonmail is a fully encrypted service. It will go some way to improving security even if you don't have a Protonmail account, but frankly, if you care about privacy at all, I would recommend opening one. It's completely free for the basic service. While I don't feel I discuss anything that would cause major issues with the watchers, nevertheless, I would like to feel that what I write goes to the intended recipient and to them alone.
