If you open a Protonmail account yourself, the end to end encryption contains no weaknesses.
I am considering taking this step with all e-mail, but I've a feeling that might mean sacrificing the north@bound2burst.net account which is controlled by Google, unless the DNS can handle multiple domain registered e-mail accounts. I have more to learn!
