It seems the banks are now insisting on displaying the first 10 characters of company names on credit card statements. Fortunately, there is no real information here. The first 10 characters of my registered company name are:

NorthstarV

Nicely innocuous. However, if you are in any way concerned, feel free to contact me with questions.

According to updated VISA and MasterCard regulations, the first 10 characters of your registered company name must be displayed on the credit card statement of the buyer.

We are currently implementing this change for all accounts, including yours. There is nothing you need to do on your end, we'll take care of these changes. Please note that we are aware of the privacy aspect most buyers want to retain. Therefore we do not display any URLs on the credit card statement of the buyer - nor will we share any personal identifying information. Thank you for using Verotel!
