Files Forever (the system) is working again, so I shall be able to sell recent files in the usual way (Hannah, Carissa, Gianna will all be available from 27th February). I have imported most of these into Files Forever and they do download successfully and play.

However, this does not mean you can download other files. Most (if not all) earlier files are either missing or corrupted. The rule is that you should only buy files where you see the red or yellow shopping cart buttons restored. If the "do not purchase" sign is there, it means those files are likely missing or corrupted and should not be purchased.

As for the entire library, I am hoping I can persuade the staff at Dreamhost to accept a disc drive containing all the files and they can import them for me. I don't fancy transferring several terrabytes of data via FTP. As generous as my ISP is, I think they might balk at that.

I do also hope that DreamHost can accept your masters for the movies via disk as I agree your ISP may have issues with you uploading that much data as I assume where you live you do not have FIOS and are either using DSL or Cable Modem connection. Both of wich are asymmetric connections where you have way more download than upload space. Also, many ISPs have caps on the amount they want to allow us users to transfer.

Some of the better online backup companies will do this as well as they know that sometimes sneaker net works better than trying to push those bits over the Internet for either upload (initial backup) or doing a full restore. So one can hope that DreamHost will be able to work with you on this to make this as painless of a restore as possible.
