If the picture is not a composite (model superimposed on background), the model would have been on a rooftop at approximately 2nd Avenue and E 40th Street in Manhattan, NYC. The camera lens is pointed WNW from that position with the Chrysler Building in the background, and with the Met Life building directly behind it. The time of the image would be mid- morning, with sunlight radiating from the East and with it being an unusually clear day in NYC.
If the image is a composite, it is very well done. One should be slightly suspicious because both the model and background are in very sharp focus. It would require a very high f-stop and very bright lighting to achieve that depth of field. However, it is outdoors on a bright sunny day, and a superficial examination shows that the lighting and shadows seem to be consistent on both the model and the background.
Regardless, isn't she just magnificent!

However, as you say, that was not the focus of the image (er um, sorry for that rather lame pun). She has confirmed the date for her shoot, and we have discussed future shoots - always planning ahead! She volunteered herself for Bound2Burst work, as did both Paige and Becky, so no coercion involved here. With these three and Melanie trying her hand at B2B stuff, including the wetting, October promises to be a very interesting month.
