Hi. Just found out that a large number of photo sets and screen captures from older movies are no longer available.

Personally, I find them to be important part of my decision making (more so than downloading clips or the descriptions) when considering what to buy. Secondly, although no purchase is technically necessary, I in particular like to think of the HQ photo sets to be part of the movie package.

I've recently 'lost' some of my collection (which included some Bound2Burst screen captures and photo sets) due to a serious hard drive failure. Thankfully, actual bought movies from files forever I've can get again (because they are available forever!) - but not so with the supporting stuff on the website now it's gone. E.G. I was wanting to replace the excellent photo sets from 'Game Show Host' and the 'Jayne Still Life' video. These have been completely removed as far as I can tell. There are many others too!

So please, can we have the screen captures and photo sets back up!

Edit: I mean "Dish of the Day", not "Jayne Still Life"!

Quite right Dan052 I agree with you, Sorry Wesley but the way you have gone about this is totally out of order.Surely there is a better way you could have spoken to Dave in the manner the way you have. I think an apology is required here and to rephrase the question without the attitude.

Sorry - You are probably right of course - I'm responding far too quickly after finding out the situation, and my frustration is at a high! Not helped by having just lost a hard drive! I didn't think my post was coming across all angry, but obviously it was! Ending with a row of angry smilies probably didn't help!

Anyway, I've calmed down, and I've amended my post to something that is hopefully seen as more mannered! Not that I think it was particularly offensive the first place - just a bit overly stern of me maybe!

I was just frustrated - I had some of my favorite pics stored offline. I've only recently downloaded them. The drive they were all on recently just died. Not backed-up 'cos I'd not got that far, was running out of space anyway and besides, I could get it all again off the 'net if needs be! In that short space of time, Dave has ALSO just happened to update the website and removed most of them! So now I can't get them back!

To clarify: I'm a fairly new customer to B2B, and so have made few purchases so far, but what I have bought (and what I have so far shortlisted) has been based on what I have seen in screen captures and (when available) photo sets.

A case in point: I not long ago purchased the movie "Game Show Host" starring Beverly. I was 'sold' on this movie by what I saw in the screen captures and by what I saw in the photo set. Less so by the description or the trailer. I may download the trailer to help me finally decide "Yes, I will buy this one", but not without first seeing images. Images are the quickest and easiest way to make an initial assessment. Particularly when browsing a number of possible purchases.

I also reached the decision to purchase this movie by seeing screen captures and photo sets from OTHER movies starring Beverly. By seeing various pictures of Beverly, I gradually took a liking to her and made a decision accordingly; "I will buy some Beverly movies, starting with Game Show Host." Because I also like denim up-skirt glimpses, and the screen shots and photos instantly told me that's what I would get.

The way it is now, is that there is a single screen grab of the movie, a description and a link to download the trailer, and nothing else. Had I only had this available to me, I may not have bought the movie. In fact, it may have remained unnoticed to me!

Another that I've just bought is Rachael in "Airport Run": the screen captures brilliantly told me this is EXACTLY the type of movie I'd like. Fortunately, screen caps for this one are still there, but without them I don't think I would have got a 'feel' for this movie at all.

So you see, I find them quite important, and miss them!

The screencap web pages were sacrificed during the site format change because they contained hundreds of dead payment links (mostly PayPal). Because Google and other search engines continued to find those pages, new visitors would often land there and then write to me to tell me that the links on the page they found were dead, and could I fix them. Replacing all these links was a formidable task, and if anything every happened to the payment system in future, I'd have to go through and change them all again.

Based on much reduced sales of older content, I didn't get the feeling that there was much interest in the screencaps any longer, other than from people who visit and take them without ever buying a thing (of which there are many). It didn't seem worth spending weeks fixing all the problems for their benefits, so I simply removed the web pages to stop people finding them.

The good news for you is that the images have not been deleted from the server. You will find them all, or at least most of them, here:

You will have to go through manually to find what you want.

Indeed. I have not worked my way through all of the older MBM pages yet. It's really a matter of demand; models whose work didn't sell especially well at the time are unlikely to do so in the future so their pages assume a low priority. I shall get to it all in time. Thanks for reminding me
