A question for you, and possibly for other people to chime in on as well.

In your time doing this have you noticed that some clothes do not show a visible wet spot on them? I am referring to the most recent set with Jasmine where this happened according to your description comments. I have remembered a few other times in the past where something similar happened as well. That the clothes seem almost water proof that a lady could pee her pants and nothing would visibly show on them. Do you have any reasoning behind that? Maybe manufacturers know that something might happen so they design some that will not show anything.

I think in general it's due to several factors about the composition of the fabric. The more "organic" it is (cotton, wool, linen...) the more it will show wetness. The more man-made fiber it contains (polyester, rayon, nylon, etc.) the more it will shed water. However, the finish also plays a role, in that a smooth and tight weave will be less apt to become wet than something more open and nubby. Then there's the impact of any sort of treatment the clothing may have received along the way (Perma-press, ScotchGard, etc.). And one final factor might be how new the garment is; some have a sizing applied to enhance their shelf appearance and this persists until the item is washed a time or two.

We can of course avoid the whole issue by having the models in no clothes at all....
