As a desperation fan, I enjoy "Holding It" Contest videos -- as long as the desperation doesn't end voluntarily, such as when the model lets go into a measuring flask, or is untied, or is allowed to race off to use the toilet.
Why? Because "Holding It Contest" is really a euphemism for "Losing Control Contest".
Let's be honest: if you're a fan of desperation, you wouldn't be satisfied watching a video that ended with the model still holding on. (If that's what you want, there's plenty of good Beauties in Bondage videos for you.)
Instead, if you're a desperation fan, you're watching a Holding Contest or desperation video to watch the model as she gradually loses control, step by step, from fidgeting, to flushing, to a look of alarm, to an inability to concentrate on anything else, to sweating, to wincing, and finally to bursting.
When the process of losing control is cut short by the model voluntarily peeing into a flask or (worst of all) into the toilet, then desperation fans miss "the best part" of watching the model in the final stages of losing control.
If Dave is trying to shoot several films in a single session, I suppose there's no time for Holding Contests and desperation videos where the model truly loses control. And Dave is justifiably concerned that models don't injure themselves by holding on too long, which is why he says he won't offer another large cash prize for a Holding Contest. We all agree that the model's health trumps all else.
But, I think there's a solution, that could allow desperation fans to see models truly lose control, while protecting them from the potential injury from holding on too long, while also keeping shooting time short enough that Dave could still film multiple videos per day: Borrow a lesson from Japanese Holding Contests where the models must do tasks and challenges such as jumping jacks or skipping rope while they're increasingly desperate.
Or even more simply, every 5 or 10 minutes, give the models a minute to tickle each other or take turns pushing/pumping on each other's stomachs.
Anything where the holding contest ends in loss of control, which is what desperation fans want to see.
